SISTER Services I'm a sister...of six great brothers, and a sister
I know the sister role well. I have six brothers (yes, and a sister too). I grew up with guys ....
For me, it was natural that some of my brothers' buddies became my buddies; that my girlfriends' brothers became my buddies, and that other guys became my buddies too.
My first thought when I met a new guy was not, "This is a potential somebody to date." It was, "Who is this person and what are they about?" Just another guy.
The friend/sister relationships were easy, non-complicated; and it allowed them and me to be who we were and have some good, meaningful conversations.... and understand ourselves and each other better. It was a very GOOD thing. I love the great guys in my life; the biological brothers, and all the other ones I 'adopted' along the way.
I should tell you that 'sister perspectives' with me are apparently a little out of the ordinary.
One of my brothers once told me that I was from a different planet.... Of course, in the next breath he was shaking his head and saying, But it works for you. (I took it as a compliment and smiled.) Humor is a good thing.
I should also tell you that my brothers and my friends trained me well. I will tell you what I think, sometimes with a quick wit. I do have opinions...and I respect yours. I also come with a positive attitude, and a sense of humor.
The point is, there are great guys in my life, including the one I married. Many are forever friends, and I love them all.
And even though most of the work I do is with women, I still care about great, kind-hearted guys. And I think I have something to offer, something extremely valuable--like a SISTER PERSPECTIVE to help guys navigate some of the life stuff and women stuff; and feel happier and live healthier with a little less stress in the process.
A Stanford University professor once told a class that, among other things, the best thing a man could do for his health is to be married, whereas for a woman, one of the best things she could do for her health was to nurture her relationships with her girlfriends.
Girls share their souls with their girlfriends. They talk through feelings, emotions, concerns, family and life stuff....fun stuff and silly stuff. And apparently, that's good for our health also. Men don't always have a buddy or a 'safe outlet' to share that kind of conversation with. I can offer that.
If someone like a SISTER would help, I may be just what you need.

What kind of conversations?
My suggestion: Start with general Happiness (or Wellness--your health, well-being, and happiness). That is the bottom line, isn't? You want to be happy and you want to feel good. (And happiness covers A LOT of everything else.)
Wellness focuses on being happy and living the best kind of life you can imagine. It can also focus on medical conditions and terms. I work with the first one--your happiness and living well You can read more here.
Well-being (yours) includes everything about you--your work, relationships, healthy body stuff, activities, feelings, emotions, challenges, and beliefs. What makes you happy? What drains your spirit? I go for the soul level, the 'Who are you? and What regrets do you not want to have?'
I do some lighter stuff too, like helping you understand how women think.

When you're ready, you can set up an appointment, and you can start with what's on your mind. No pressure. A good starting place is whatever it is that brought you to look for me. A conversation you need to have; something that's bothering you; the need for somebody outside to talk it over with confidentially.

I have valuable information that you don't, and I share it. I save you a lot of time and frustration not having to dig for it. (Yes, a lot of information is on the internet. How fast can you find exactly what you need for your situation? How long will it take you? Is that something you like spending a lot of time on?)
I come with a smile and positive attitude, a heart and a soul, and a lot of depth. I don't share what you tell me. I'm a safe sounding board. I ask different questions... and see different things.... That 'different planet' thing again.
