CAUSES OF THE HEART
We all have causes of the heart and political passions--issues and sociel concerns that move us to DO something to make a positive difference, to speak up for those unable to do so, or to offer comfort or assistance where we can.
Interestingly, we don't all share the same causes and passions. I suspect the particular passions each of us has is ours for a particular reason, and that part of our sacred journey here is responding on behalf of those passions.
My causes of the heart are compassionate treatment of animals and taking care of the environment.
Often it's the little things one does that make a big difference.
Take your own coffee mug to meetings. You'll be reducing wasted cups in landfills, AND have a nice warm coffee cup to use instead. And some of us have coffee mugs that MATCH with what we're wearing.
Whatever your passions are, I hope you will be inspired to co-create a safer, more compassionate, and just place to live. We each make a difference. Thank you.
